Standard TMS Therapy

The standard TMS therapy protocol was FDA-approved in 2008 originally as a 37-minute treatment, but has since been approved as a 19-minute treatment.

Patients receiving the standard 19-minute treatment session can expect to receive 20-36 treatments over 4-6 weeks, with the remaining 6-treatment sessions titrated over a period of 3-weeks. Patient treatment sessions are performed daily Monday - Friday for the first 4-6 weeks, then the last few sessions are titrated over a 3-week period.

The standard treatment protocol is typically covered by most insurance plans; however, most require that a prior authorization be obtained prior to the patient starting treatment. At NeuroHeal, we take care of the prior authorization for each of our patients.
